Tour-de-la-Massane-Argeles-sur-Mer

Hiking of the Massane Argelès-sur-mer

The Massane hike is undoubtedly one of the classics of the department or at least aroundArgelès-sur-mer. Indeed, it offers an incredible panoramic landscape, between sea and mountains, after having climbed a part of the Albères massif.

You can reach it either by the park of Valmy, where you will discover rather quickly vestiges of dolmen. In the heart of the forest and near the natural reserve of Massane, you will arrive at the summit. This hike is difficult. For families with children or for walks, we advise you to stop at the dolmens.

You can also choose to leave from Lavall, a hamlet in the commune of Sorède. You will walk along the river before climbing to the top of the tower. This route is shady, but also difficult.
