A traditional festival at the foot of the Castillet

The flame is kept from one year to the next, at the Castillet (representative monument of the city of Perpignan).

This is the trigger for the St. John‘s Day festivities, as all the villages will light their own fires.

This festival is traditionally accompanied by Catalan folklore with a local dance, the sardana.

For example, in the town of Argelès-sur-mer, you can discover Catalan concerts, sardana, but also shows and meals on the theme of Catalan culture.
