All about Salses-le-Château
Salses-le-Château is a village at the entrance of the department, 45 minutes from the campsite. Its castle, located on the edge of the highway, dates from the XVᵉ century.
Designed for military defense, you can walk along the 10 meters of walls. Inside this building, you can discover the history of the knights and the terraces overlooking the city and its ponds.
In addition to the historical heritage, Salses-le-Château has a landscape between sea and ponds. This space, quite preserved from humans, will seduce couples and families.
